The Colour Spectrum Series
Exhausting the photogravure technique’s potential to produce the fullest body of pigment, Eliasson’s Colour Spectrum Series presents the spectral range of colours in a series of 48 photogravures. Installed in one row, the series displays the gradual shift from one colour to another, each of the 48 panels displaying a portion of the spectrum’s transition from shorter to longer wavelengths.
