Masters & Method

Niels Borch Jensen first became aware of Tal R in the 1990s, when Tal R was attending the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. In 1999 they published their first portfolio of small black-and-white etchings, the starting point of an extensive, almost seven-year long investigation of intaglio printmaking. Masters & Method, a comprehensive publication dedicated to these etchings, was published in 2008 in an edition of 700 copies, 100 of which are signed and numbered by Tal R and accompanied by an original etching.
