Læsende perledykker

Surrounded by bubbles and immersed in reading, a young woman lies inside a half-open oyster shell.
Læsende perledykker was created for the encyclopedia ORD, a publication from Politiken’s publishing house that pays tribute to the Danish language. This tiny line etching is Anna Stahn’s interpretation of the word ‘pigesind’ describing the mind of a young girl, often with an emphasis on one or more emotional traits considered typical of this age group.
