Cassetta and BORCH Editions invite you to join us for coffee and a preview

In BORCH Editions’ showroom, the exhibition Growing features various original prints framed by Cassetta, while artist Alexander Tovborg will introduce his ambitious print project based on Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy. Cassetta has designed a custom standing frame specifically for Alexander Tovborg’s prints.

GROWING
Cassetta’s handcrafted frames are designed by architects Mentze Ottenstein, Anne Dorthe Vester, and bahraini—danish and carefully curated according to a series of prints by artists collaborating with BORCH Editions. The selection of prints by Mamma Andersson, Nanna Debois Buhl, Andreas Eriksson, Marianne Grønnow, Emma Kohlmann, Tal R and Matt Saunders offers a contemporary take on the classic landscape motif. Cassetta’s distinct focus on tactility, materials, form and detail corresponds with the classic printing techniques still used at BORCH Editions’ printmaking studio.

TABERNACLE
In a new book Den Guddommelige Komedie (in Danish) Dante Alighieri’s influential work is retold by author Ditlev Tamm based on 92 etchings by Alexander Tovborg. A limited number of the publication is sold together with a print from Tovborg’s series. For this special occasion, Cassetta has created a limited number of the customised frame Tabernacle, designed by Mentze Ottenstein exclusively for this series of prints. The stand-alone, upright frames accentuate Tovborg’s etchings, transforming them into sculptural objects that match the scale of the book.
