Virginia Overton’s artistic practice draws from intuitive responses to her physical presence in a particular space.
Working mainly in installation and sculpture, she uses recycled materials like wood and metal, which she often discovers on site during the process of the objects’ creation. For her etchings and photogravures she transferres these artistic interests into the medium of printmaking, using found materials and utilizing them for the printmaking process.
