In McNally’s microcosm, the viewer loses himself in a maze rich in allegory and historical whimsy. McNally’s artistic diversity allows him to shift effortlessly between different visual styles, often referencing historical drawing techniques, while at the same time addressing current political issues and cultural phenomena.
Robert McNally, born 1982 in Newcastle, England, lives and works in Berlin, Germany. He has been collaborating with BORCH Editions since 2017.
