Lise Blomberg
Lise Blomberg creates ambiguous pictorial spaces, in which seemingly idyllic scenes reveal a darker side at closer inspection.
Blomberg’s pictorial universe consists of landscapes and natural environments as well as architectural structures, populated by human beings, birds and crossbreeds of the two – human heads on birds’ bodies. Her style balances between carefully drawn details and geometrical shapes close to abstraction.
Lise Blomberg, born 1971, lives and works in Copenhagen. She has been collaborating with BORCH Editions since 2013.
