Günther Förg

Against the general trend of figurative painting in 1980s Germany, Günther Förg adapted an investigative approach to colour and abstraction.

His extensive body of work includes painting, bronze sculptures, large format photographs, drawings and printmaking. Universal concepts of form, mass, proportion, rhythm and structure constitute a common thread in his work.

Günther Förg (1952 – 2013) collaborated with BORCH Gallery & Editions in 1993.
