Rooted in their transnational backgrounds, their practices challenge conventional notions of authorship and engage with questions of identity, politics and global exchange.
While their work differs formally, Tiravanija and Vo share a strong conceptual approach. Tiravanija is renowned for his participatory installations, often centred on communal acts such as cooking, transforming art into a situation or space of social encounter. Vo’s conceptual practice engages personal and collective histories, weaving together archival materials, found objects and elements of his own story.
Rirkrit Tiravanija, born 1961 in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Danh Vo, born 1975 in Bà Rja, Vietnam, have been jointly collaborating with BORCH Editions since 2025.
